Awesome place, stopped for lunch after visiting the museum. The staff was awesome and the food was awesome as well. Ms. Gloria was VERY NICE.
I gotta say. Mexican food in NM is NOT my favorite. The style is completely different from every other part of the continent I’ve been to which is crazy. It’s a mix of Mexican white and Navajo. For ten years it’s been hard to find decent Mexican food here. La gran Victoria is one of if not my personal favorite locally. Very good food. Would recommend; but to each their own. But for me, The dozens of others, this one wins out.
Stopped by to eat, after passing by it twice on the way to the hotel. Once reading the review on the menudo, I was hesitant about it, so I asked for a small bowl....well hell, I should've gotten a large. Being from texas we take our menudo pretty seriously, and I for one was not disappointed. My wife and kids tried it out, w the bread and they absolutely loved it. The chips and salsa had great taste, the spiciness will creep up on you though. All around , each one of our plates was delicious. The waiting staff was very kind, especially after we showed up not knowing they were closing early for Xmas eve. Which we didn't notice until we realized we were the only ppl in the restaurant. Our overall experience w the food and service is why I am giving this place 5 stars...my family and I will definitely be stopping by again before we leave.
My 2 girlfriends and I went to eat. We all decided on the taco salad. We all agreed that it was delicious and fresh. The server was delightful and efficient. I will definitely return!
Wow! We are visiting Roswell on a motorcycle trip and the visitor center recommended this place. We are glad they did. The tacos are amazing. Highly recommend the El Pastor taco plate. Great chips and salsa as well. If your in Roswell... Don't miss this place!!
Delicious food, friendly locals, reasonably priced, colorful atmosphere. Carne Asada fries, Chile (Hatchy) Nogada, Pistachio (Alien Drink)& Mexican Beer. Local Santa made an appearance. Wait Staff was friendly and polite. Clean restroom. We looked at other places that were in the weeds. Not here.
This place is delicious! I got the stuffed sopaipilla and hubs got the chimichanga. We both got green sauce and were very happy. The chips...they are amazing! Love the seasoning on them. Would definitely come back!
02/05/25- This was my first time eating here and the food was terrific. I had a wonderful Chimichanga with green sauce, the rice was flavorful and everything came out hot and fresh. The server was nice and attentive. Great place. Don’t forget to get the Mexican Coke!
